Penn State’s Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing is one of the largest educators of pre-licensure students in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with over 2200 undergraduate and graduate students on 13 campuses. A new 16-month degree program at Penn State Behrend will fast-track a career change for college graduates who want to work in nursing. Classes begin in the fall of 2026.

Simulation helps Mont Alto students understand realities of poverty (11/19/2025)

Students at Penn State Mont Alto recently took part in a "Poverty Simulation" event. The event helped them learn more about the struggles faced by people and families who are experiencing poverty. These students are studying to go into health care fields, and the goal is to ensure they know how to connect their future patients to the proper resources.
